Thank you!

We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone that made our Holiday Open House such an amazing time last weekend!

A lot has changed since we held our last holiday event way back in November of 2019: first COVID, then we lost our dear Sue, and then the sudden forced downsizing of our business earlier this year. It really meant a LOT to us to be able to host our Open House this year, with it serving both as a reminder of what has changed, but also that there is still light and joy and happiness to be found, and that alone is reason to celebrate.

In addition to thanking our amazing community of friends and customers (new and old!) that continues to support small businesses like ours, we want to acknowledge our vendors that worked so hard to make yesterday happen. Our shop is made up of dozens and dozens of antique and design curators that bring tremendous talent and passion into our doors every single day. They ALL contributed to making our event a fun one, and our shop wouldn’t be what it is without them.

A special shout out to Cheryl (space #141), Sharon (#29), Page (#6), and Christine (#64) for their donation to our raffle, and to Johnnye Merles, our nursery in the back, for donating the mini Christmas cacti for our giveaway. Thanks to Anthony (#81) and Pat (#56) for coming in early and helping to set up the snack tables and to Angela (#2009) for her bottle brush tree workshops! Thanks to Christine (#66) for bringing in her popcorn and snow cone machines, even if we blew the power at first – it wouldn’t be a Country Roads event without SOME sorta mishap, it’s our tradition! 😂

Our raffle winners were drawn at closing by Mr. B, our resident 5th grader / free labor. All have been contacted, but if you didn’t win, don’t get too sad – we’ll likely have another raffle or two before the year is over! 😉

In closing, we look forward to spending this holiday season with you. The seasonal goodies, vintage and new, will keep coming in, so check in again with us soon! We appreciate you shopping small and supporting local, family owned businesses like ours. And, above all else, thank you thank you thank you!
